Retransfer Card Printer XID 580ie  
The perfect choice for all lamination and encoding jobs on plastic cards and smart cards. This printer also enables single- and dual-sided lamination, in combination with devices of EDIsecure ILU and OLM.

New security features such as dye-sublimation UV ink ribbon for invisible security printing, IPSEC for encrypted data transfer through networks and Security Erase of black data on used supplies help to secure the environment and cards from counterfeiting and to avoid misuse of personal information.


The EDIsecure XID 580ie card printer gives you a pre-selection of five different card type profiles. Recommended printer settings for standard card materials will be automatically loaded when installing the XID card printer driver.


Optional encoding options for magnetic stripe and/ or for chip encoding (contact and contactless smart cards) are available. The XID 580ie comes optionally with extended features for RFID card encoding with support of the following smart card types: Mifare, DESFire, HID iCLASS, Legic, etc. Further more it is prepared to have an optional module for LaserCard encoding incl. OptiChip.


For extended card life and for card protection the card printer can be equipped with card lamination modules of ILU and/ or OLM series.
